Haron, this post was bumped especially for you. I commented to another player just the other day about how you had to interject yourself into every offer that is made. I wanted to see how long it would take you to comment on this offer and how other offers were better. I must say, you did not let me down.
You seem to be the self appointed value monitor. What I see is a player who is showing a lack of understanding about the various situations in the game. You are like a 13 year old who has just learned how to use a calculator. You can calculate the presumed value of a credit versus how many credits are being used and how much gold is developed. You don't look at perimeters such as my offer concerning Forced labors that are tied in with Bribes. I am sure the person who uses 40 or more Forced Labors on me is glad to receive 1,500,000 gold for the bribe instead of 2 million because of the increased amount they get from the forced labors. You do not take into account how valuable are credits to that particular player, some people do not put the same value on credits and therefore do not buy them or sell them all the time. You do not take into account if a person is wanting to move the cards immediately instead of waiting three days hoping they will sell.
You do not seem to understand that different people have different needs at different times. All players are not in a static position based on the values you see. Some are in need of credits more than others. With them the price they can buy credits for is a key factor. With some credits are not a factor and could care less about the price they would have to buy credits for. With some turns are the primary concern. For example with me, I would much rather have my turns than loose them by sending several people gold through the banks because they wanted to gain some coins by utilizing the amount of crew I have hired. For someone who is using maximum turns, the turns used casting voodoo would be a significant cost and could make the best of offers not so good. For someone who is not worried with how much gold he has perhaps the credits are more important. For these offers to be analyzed properly you must understand the needs of the person who is going to use the voodoo. What is more important to them, Gold, Credits, or turns. I don't see how you can make blanket statements such as "this is not as good a deal as another".
My offer still stands as I stated it. It really doesn't matter to me if people send these cards to me or others. I offer it only as a service to others. I do hope people will understand when Haron makes comments on these offers, it is only to promote himself as some sort of authority and it is not a true picture of what is a good value and what is not. The true value can only be determined by what you seek the most at the current time in the game. In a few weeks, what is a good deal today may not be a good deal anymore or what may not have been a good deal may now be excellent.
