Noone says that you can't make your guild big to have same protection.

It's not about one specific guild - it's about the protection level IN GENERAL. I DON'T want the game to consist of five large guilds, having divided the ports between them, peacefully trading and completely protected from danger. Never would I make a suggestion or make a comment to a suggestion simply to favor me and disfavor others. I only suggest things I think will make the game better.

I want LESS protection for EVERYONE. I want attacks to be EASIER, not HARDER. I want the way to prevent attacks to ensure you're able to strike BACK, rather than avoid being struck in the first place.

those guilds are big for reason. Some players played this for couple years already and what I see out of recent complaints not just yours but some other players and topics is that we new players ( I am new player to most others) wanna be able to strike at those older players on the same level. I am sorry but that is not possible they are there where are they in terms of strenght and strategy for a reason. If you remove oart about insta cards such as ravage and ambush then whole this suggestion lose it's purpose. why would we need voodoo log then? At first I disagreed with part of our casts due the fear of cloging but if we remove those curses that we casted on ourselves this proposition gets +1 from me.

First of all, it isn't total protection. Not only does somebody have to be looking at the voodoo log in the guild screen, they actually have to have permission to see it. Just like guild battles, this page would be restricted to those the guildmaster gives viewing permission to. In addition, it doesn't prevent someone from being struck in the first place as you allege. it simply allows guild members the ability to see when someone is having voodoo cast on them. just because it will show up in a log doesn't mean you all of a sudden can't cast ambush, etc. on someone.

Second, if guilds can't provide protection, why the hell do we have them? I understand that as a pirate you just want your life easier all the time. I as a merchant would like my life easier too. But no protection? that is just dumb.

that you for nit picking on my exact words rather than the point i am making.

moving to less protection is not the way to go. finding a balance of protection is key. making it more protection in a guild is good in my opinion. everyone can join one and get the same protection, even pirates. making it less protection in guilds just makes them less relevant

That's even better. Maybe make it aswell that all they need to say is I want that ship and it becomes there.
