well that would be about 2001, and yes there were games on the PC back then even some online, granted the connections were worse and odds are good games were hard to find. one company I love is Spiderweb, they made and still make some good RPG games, their earliest game was about 1994, when I was a mere toddler.

We do not expect more than 50 new signups per day from this campaign so do not really worry about balance
Pirates Glory have had 90k registrations so far. Word of mouth is still the best way to get a game playerbase going.

I'm not worried about balance, I just find it sad that so many people sign up, play once and never play again. of those 50 signups a day I think we would be lucky if a tenth of them become long term players. but that's just the cynic in me talking

if im right this games on its second server and considering its just now getting to the point where people are rich and where they are able to do stuff the first server was around 6 years to 8 years long unless if it was killed because of a update

and so that would make it 10-12 years old

1 or 2 of them will play for 7 days, and 5% of them will be long term players.
