Voodoo suggestion-Bluff

So i was just doing my things :D , UNTIL i got this idea of a card:

BLUFF
-Turns: 8*
-Not stackable
-Effect: Hides half* of your current voodoo cards (Example: If someone uses crystal ball on me, and i have this card on effect, he will only see 1/2* of my deck)
-Duration: 24h*

This could be played as a defensive card, so it forces the players to be more prepared if they want to engage in a war.
The aspects with * should be reconsidered and debated.
My laziness is exactly as the number 8.
If it lies down, it becomes infinite.

I think that bluffing implies that you are lying about the cards that you have, not about how many you have.

Bluff can be both real gambler will bluff enough to hide that he has winning hand so that he can raise pot.

There would be no purpose for this card.

If I cast Crystal Ball, and you have this card on.

I would then cast Insight to find out you have that card.

Then, just double voodoo.

You mean re-cast crystal ball? Thats the thing, its covers the identities of half your card (randomly) and even if you cast 10 crystal balls, you will still not be able, for 24 hours, to see the covered up cards

You mean re-cast crystal ball? Thats the thing, its covers the identities of half your card (randomly) and even if you cast 10 crystal balls, you will still not be able, for 24 hours, to see the covered up cards


i think that he though that if you had say 24 Mindbars you would only see 12 and from what i read it would cover all of them

Arg's point is valid : Insight will tell him you have the card in effect on you : so he will know the crystal was not accurate and can then calculate your true holdings

Danik, yes you will know how many cards the player has, but not the cards themselves. Ex: if the player has 2 cards, you will only know the identity of 1 card, even though you know he has 2. This will be very helpfull in adding some unpredicability in the players voodoo actions.

Another example to clear things up ;) : I have Bluff active on me. I also have 1 commandeer and 3 fire ship (total of 2 group of cards in my deck). Someone uses crystal ball on me, he will either see only my 1 commandeer card or my 3 fire ship card.

NOTE TO CARD DESCRIPTION: *Hides half of all the groups of cards of the same time in your deck.

Another example: my deck- 10 fire ships, 4 taxations, 3 mindbars and 1 pouch of gold.

Someone casts on me crystal ball, while i have Bluff

They will see (example, because it should be random) : 10 fire ships and 1 pouch of gold
