Now everyone ask themselves, what would the US have to gain by pulling in a guild and a second nation? In what way would hiring someone to complete those attacks be beneficial to us?

Seems like a ploy to give yourself an excuse to intervene...

Touche ?

I'll speak plainly, and in public, as King of Mexico and a senior member of AYES :

Attack MY guild or attack MY nation and its an attack on ME. I dont give a tinkers cuss for your strategies and dreams and aspirations : I care not if your guild/nation controls one port or ten : I intervene because you have chosen, by your strategies and actions, to involve me, my guild and my nation. I care not if your hired goons have gone off half-cocked and exceeded their instructions : that's your problem to deal with, as is the consequences of that failure of discipline. Your plans have gone wrong? Your problem, you fix it : dont ask me to stand aside and take damage and losses cos you messed up and failed to consider all the outcomes and prepare for them adequately. I'd rather not be involved in your great plan : best way to ensure that is to not involve me by dint of incompetence, indiscipline or plain ineptitude in your deeds.

You want to apply pressure to bring Spain compliant to the negotiating table? Don't pressure me, I cant put them there, but I can act to defend my interests and comrades : stick that in your strategy pipe and smoke it.

The king of donkeys has spoken. Touch him in the right spot and he'll make a bray you won't ever forget.

Interesting approach by Spain, they won't cast on US but as soon as we gift a port they lean on the little guy.. thought you said Spain was all for helping others attain ports Danik?
