How does one earn Loyalty?

It seems like a pretty simple and also pretty basic question for gameplay but I can't get or find a straight answer? Any help would be appreciated ...

You complete nation quest.

This is getting increasingly frustrating. The Nation Quest that I have is to become a Captain. It tells me to go to the Governor and ask to be made a Captain. When I do that, it says that I have 10 Loyalty and to become a Captain I need 20 Loyalty. So I am 10 Loyalty short of being able to do Nation Quests.

So, are you telling me that the only way to gain Loyalty is to do Nation Quests and I that I can't do Nation Quests because I don't have enough Loyalty? What is the solution for that?

Mate

Go to Governor
Click become captain
you will see what you need to do and what is already done
look carefully and click a mission that hadnt been accomplished as yet
read the instructions go to the port or hunt the npc or targets it give you and you will get your loyalty

There are 4 missions for Captains.

Increase influence by 3000 5
Increase influence by 3000 5
Defeat specific NPC enemy 5
Defeat enemies 5

Like what Francois said that should gain the loyalty. The game help has this general information:

-Every player starts with 10 Loyalty.
-When you join a new country your loyalty falls to 0.
-Pirates always have 0 loyalty and loyalty plays no role for them.
-The max loyalty you can attain with your nation, is 100.
-Currently, you gain loyalty through country missions.
-Currently, there is no way to lose loyalty.

That last one no way to loose loyalty isnt that stated above how you cn lose it.....well what i know....after all i am the one that cant see good here

I was just copied and pasted the help page but I'm assuming it means that if I have 100 Loyalty, I can't do something to lose it unless I leave the nation.

For future reference to anyone reading this forum, Step by Step do this:

1) Go to the Governor's mansion
2) Ask to be made a Captain (note that this will change as you rank up)
3) Click the link "Great! Give me the missions!" You might have to scroll down if you're on a mobile device
4) Then proceed to complete the task given on that page.

If that doesn't work just post here and we'll figure it out.
