Ultra Rare Curse idea

Actually, I would not mind having a hundered of each. No, make that 15,000 of each. There are ways around most of them,but i think I wouldn't mind the Chaos that would ensue if they were common cards. :D

i mean you only get 1 card a week dude. I mean it's just 1 super powerful card that will cause utter destruction or huge gains for yourself but once you use it that's it. This would really increase profits in the game and cause much chaos, which this game desperatly needs to be more exciting.

The concept of creating complex and difficult quests which reward players with a special prize, like a special card, does sound like a good idea.

For this to progress further, we need more specific proposals, first on the quests. Then on the prizes. The more complete these proposals are, the more probable this to happen.

There are a bunch of different ways to go about this. You would have to win 100 battles against the player that you've had the most battles against (it has to be over 50 battles) Also the player has had to join for a year and must be considered notorious. Only the top 50 players would be on this list and the higher the list the more likely they'll be your target. Also to get an ultra rare card it'd take away 10% of your total voodoo inventory and 5000 gold bars to get a magic witch hut. After that you'd have a 50 percent chance to get an ultra rare card and 50 percent chance to get a rare card every 7 days. This would make it more even with players that have lots of voodoo curses. Also to get a with hut they can't have any cards on the market so they don't get rid of all their cards before they build the witch hut.

This is only 1 idea. There are many different ways to go about this.

I think its back to the 'Auto-win regardless of any ineptitude at playing the game' card idea ; and its still utter nonsense : why not just randomly select a player to have their account deleted on log-in, once per week... makes as much sense to me.

I partially agree with this but as Juicy explained to me - You would only get one ultra rare curse in the game , and they are different types : One where it could destroy a player yes : But it could also give you a Man O War...

Still nonsense : no game could get away with that ; effectively destroying a player account randomly, which is what the destructive curses raised in the original proposals would do : lose your ships and resources cos you are foolish and don't act to protect them within the game rules, that's fine because the means to do so are there within those rules; lose them cos another player is smarter, better, stronger and plays within the game rules, that's fine too, again, the means to do so are within those rules... but lose them just cos the attacker won a 'Hey lucky dude, now you cant lose!' card?

Pirates Glory is promoted as a game where you have to think. There are plenty of games out there for the person who wants to get lucky and win or do wondrous things. As for me, i still like the thought that you have to plan things out. As the rules change, I change the way I play. I can deal with it, it keeps me thinking and planning.
