As a fairly active player there's a lot to wish for in-game.Here are just what admin can do:

1) Guild treasury
2) Inactive players ships are sent to random players 1 each.
3) For everyone to get 2 capt,2 admiral & 2 merchant every month

Maybe the chance to get some gold, voodoo, reward, depending on how many ships you got.. The more ships you've got the slower you get them.. That could help newcomers and also put something else for veterans to do within the game..

1) resolve guild/nation loyalty splits by having guilds affiliate to a single nation : new players start as pirates : they choose their nation once they have actually seen the maps and played the game.

2) extra port on trade routes set-up : with 5 ports far more opportunities arise for profitable circular routing

3) Guard/Escort/Blockade features for nations in control of a port (contracted out to its citizens) : free trade or isolationist? : let the nation decide its policy and then try to enforce it.

1. Inactive Player Removal from Active Mission targets. Currently, the top 2 or 3 people that have been assigned as my targets are inactive (or banned), making it really hard to rank up.

2. The option for a guild to specifically align with one nation and gain benefits from doing this.

3. Maybe even large-scale bounties on ports to remove it from the control of a country.

1) being able to control ships in battles (a bit more than just click on "plunder" or "skirmish") even if only for the attacker to avoid to force people to be always online

2) one free captain per month (or one free officer, like to have a free bribe cast per month) to active players only. could be only to who logged in every day in a month, for example.

3) add the number to forum also to help to understand who is who when reading.

4) (the #3 is so much easy that I feel like adding a fourth suggestion:) ) keeping track of name changes in game to understand who is who when playing.
