something else to think about related to this topic is the reaction of the NPC grooms-to-be. I'm sure men do not act as painfully shy as that blonde little pixie...at least, not men who are supposed to be governors

and must we be the one's to think up reactions? >< it's not as if we'd know how he'll react -_- makes more sense to get the boys to do it

something else too. the jokes is sadly lacking. I accidentally told one of my girls a joke, and it popped up with the one about the hook and eye and stabbing the eye out. no governor's daughter would find physical harm a joke o.o....... and it's an ancient one too....

I was thinking that we should get a pic that's different from the ones for the guys... even though it can be concluded that the couple on the main pic is switched around, that picture doesn't really fit the stereotype for a proper romantic lord with his bold, adventurous, and shockingly unconventional lover/wife.
And the not-that-clear framed picture portrays what seems to be a very modest lady looking out a window... not that great a depiction of a female pirate. In fact, not even that great a representation of a young excitable governor's daughter.

maybe you're righ JR but you are a bloodthirsty pirate so your standards for manliness is likely through the roof the governor, his son, or his relative should be at least charismatic in some way, not shy. the women all of you marry just blush and stare at you when you compliment them. seriously, it's almost sad

Perhaps we could ask the devs to create a new subforum in the Suggestions category specifically for Romance and let the players edit and agree (hopefully) the wording. If they posted the existing wording under topics
