Deadline extension

Do you have an idea for a card ? Do you want a tweak on existing voodoo cards? Perhaps you even want one of them removed? This is where you can post your suggestion.

Deadline extension

Postby Painmaster » Mon Aug 11, 2014 1:34 pm

Name: Deadline Extension
Cost: 3 turns(if target is common), 5 turns(if target is uncommon), 10 turns(if target is rare)
Rarity: Uncommon
Target: target curse affecting target player

If the selected curse has a duration, then the duration of the curse is extended by 1/4 the original time. The total time after the extension cannot exceed the original time, or this card will fail. If the selected card does not have a duration, this card cannot be cast.
In the beginning, the world was created. This has widely been regarded as a bad move.

Would this also work on Mindbar, Pacifism, and Coastal Piracy?
If so, then I think it could be beneficial.

On any voodoo curse with a duration. Mindbar, coastal piracy, HNs, FuGs,favorable winds, Taxation, swarm of worms, etc.

How about the turns needed to cast equals the turns it took to cast the target curse.

Afk, looking for that palm tree island beach of Legends.

That could work too... do you think that would be more fair?

If the card only extends the time by 1/4, how about the curse taking 1/4 the turns to cast that it took to cast the original curse? That would be well and truly fair. If not may the rum in all ports disappear.

+1

I think that it should cost half the price of the original curse. There should be some cost to continue the curse.

I agree, convenience should come at a price: I'd see this card being used as an emergency measure, to buy some time until a fresh full-sized cast can be made : having no penalty-cost of use would just make it a cheap extension that could, conceivably, make any curse infinitely extendable and thus avoid needing to hold any cards beyond a handful of 'original' seed cards. That could be prevented by making it a one-time only extension though.

so make it to where the chosen curse can only be extended once?
