because elsewhere the facilities built and utilized were declared isolation zones under the Notifiable Diseases Act, and any movement in or out was strictly controlled and enforceable by law.
Escapees were tracked and apprehended by contact tracers and police forces.
When you have guards to keep people on a property that's not their home or desired living situation in the States we call that a prison
the co-ordinated transfer of positive cases from remote Indigenous communities to the facility is indicative of the treatment the Indigenous of Australia have been historically mistreated
as for the heavy-set Australian woman with blonde hair and black roots pale skin and odd dark red lipstick I saw on TV I am calling Lil Hitler I dunno her name and don't care to know it or her role in your government
I listened to her for all of 3 minutes and removed her from my screen and mind until now due to the instant revulsion she created with her words
EDIT here's a video from a quick search that disproves home quarantine was the standard

Okay I see your confusion. Those were for international visitors. Most countries had that policy of if you were arriving from another country to quarantine for a short while or take a Covid test and then you would be let in. I have friends or family who live in Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Victoria. So most of the states and territories and we have never gone to any concentration camps or any such camps.
Contact tracers didn't "track" people. They figured out who you might have come in contact with while you were infectious and then just gave them a phone call to make them aware that they had been in contact with someone infectious and if they had any Covid like symptoms to consider doing a Rapid Antigen test and if it was positive to isolate yourself for a certain period of time. Initially that was 2 weeks but then I after 2020 I think partway through 2021 they changed it to one week.
Indigenous Australians were not put into any concentration camps during Covid. They either live in the big cities and self-isolate at home same as anyone else or there are remote Aboriginal communities where some of them live, that are usually aboriginals only unless you are invited there by the elders and those communities are on land ceded back to aboriginal communities. I highly doubt there were many cases in those remote communities.
Lol, so as I watch an Aussie tell her story and see some of her video while incarcerated you tell me I am confused.
Another case of my eyes lying to me.
The fact I saw one of your govt officials on my American feed saying they will be placing her citizens in a camp along with travelers as needed
tells me my ears and eyes were seeing what you refuse to see or hear.
I am not going to waste time searching for tons more of evidence to prove my statement its old news and irrelevant now
the fact they built 4 camps stretched throughout Australia new camps that cost hundreds of millions each in addition to the repurposed buildings and hotels and motels that were commandeered for this purpose should be enough proof with a common sense individual add the videos and its confirmed 100 percent .... but I'm confused

Hmmm, I don't see the confusion
Palaszczuk was asked by 7News’ Sunrise if QRAC was still needed. Palaszczuk said that her desired target was allegedly 90 percent of the population double-jabbed and stated that foreign visitors or repatriated Australians could be “charted in” to the camp from potential, future red zone countries.
Chillingly, she added: “We’ll also need it for unvaccinated people.”
Palaszczuk concluded: “We’ll also need it for people who are international students who are looking at doing labour for our farmers. So, I think there’s a whole lot of opportunities as well.” Her remark about the unvaccinated is not taken out of context. For instance, she was not talking about unvaccinated foreign travellers."
