It's usually whowever is mad at me that week, HELM, PK, PETA...

But young pirates seem to read cause they try out the tactics I reveal.

Well I just want to point out that whatever tactic you "reveal" is already well known or not used because someone has found a flaw in it. i.e Casting 3 fugitives on a person and capping it off with a mindbar and 2cc maybe. Well that was used a ton when Skyhawk first found that out (actually it was a top secret thing that Sky told me never to tell anyone) but as we used it, it caught on and now it's not a secret (if you didn't know that tactic you could do that how do you consider yourself a tactic help thread). But it was a flawed tactic for 2-3 reasons and I'll you to figure that out. All in all, I don't think you have the right to consider this a place where you reveal cutting edge tactics that people use. Reading this thread reveals otherwise.

A lot of you "old" guys think that all this stuff is common knowledge, but sure isn't very easy to find.

Vague references aren't a help guide after all. Really you have to join and guild or make really good friends even to learn to do a simple hn raid properly

This is far from a help thread, but I do sprinkle in some practical tips for pirates. With what, 50 actual pirates in the game, perhaps we need the help.

Anyway, not sure who died and made you internet literary critic, Roileon, but this does fit your forum pattern--dip in for a post to stir up some smack and off you go...

Back to pirate tactics--Roi with his three fug and confuse. Well tick tock is doing that to me now. I find it far less devastating that everyone thinks. So, you can't clear it easily, I get it, I've done it. I rarely clear any voodoo anyway. Personally, I think its a big flashy angry thing to do to someone, but really if you are around to do some tweaks, not so devastating after all. I've been operating under that condition for weeks at a time, still raiding, still playing, still having fun.

As a raid tool, its too expensive. Plus you add the fussy nature of getting the fugs in just right at the hour--I've seen far more FUG raids go south where a simple HN raid would have succeeded.

Now the evil geniuses in our guild, Zom B the one true pirate guild, have more raid strats than we have time to employ. We do a particularly nasty little trick that does involve FUGS, but in a completely different way to devastating effect.

Hmmm...who should I demonstrate on?
