yeah I agree with Doot. When the politicians in Australia started getting covid last year they all panicked and would think most politicians would have it. idk where you are though not sure why they don't have it

I believe it meant that while 80% of hospitalized people are vaccinated, it only made up 5% of the vaccinated population(My math might be off since that 5% was around 107319).

Also with vaccination percentage going up wouldn't that also mean that you're more likely to find a vaccinated person among the hospitalized since there are less unvaxxed people?

This point made me think about the math so I checked. At the time the article was written 70.1% of the population of Wales was vaccinated

Another point hereThe article states..."Although 80% of patients have been double-dosed with a vaccine, public health officials said this is not evidence that the vaccine is not working - and that vaccines keep 95% of people out of hospital."

That seems awesome right?? Except for this.... 94.8% of unvaccinated people in Wales have not been hospitalized due to covid.

Statistically, there is no difference in the rate of hospitalizations in Wales between Vaccinated and unvaccinated.
