A mention of casts being made reveals no more in-game information than a player boasting of stealing a named players MoW, looting a named nations treasury or winning a battle. I think you are shaving that carrot very fine to be calling it out as an infraction.

I agree that mentioning casts would not be an issue. Him saying he cast on player X and player Y does not reveal in-game information.

However, that is not the reason for the removal or reminder, he displayed his active curses with the countdown timer. While HNs are not a big deal, having the time countdown for certain voodoo would be strategically valuable as it isn't publicly available information. Thus revealing it on any voodoo is not allowed.
