Hellfire Glitch fame win?

Explain this to me, because i don't get it

I was at 3.100.000 fame Hellfire at 3.300.000 last time i`ve checked. So he was above me.. ( Unless he got hit prior to this i don`t see any explanation )

4attack was made by him.

First attack.
Acadien won : Your fame increased by 85167!

Second.
Your fame decreased by 159869!

Third
Your fame decreased by 151875!

And final
Your fame decreased by 144281!

Honestly i don't mind losing fame since voodoo is coming out, and that i know my fleet only lost cause my last ship was damaged only way that you won hellfire.. So anyway, when i started looking more into this, i was wondering how come i only won 85k when his fame was above me, and he was getting 150k every hit after that? How is it possible for him to gain more fame then me if he got more then me..

So i though he might just have been hit prior to is attack on me ( wich i doubt.. ) Then again i started looking for him to pay my respect and so i did and prove that i was right on the above sentence.

What the F*ck? I just gained 86k 'AGAIN' when he had 3.400.000 ... and he won 150k every time when i was only at 3.100.000
Explain that to me someone?

idk how i got so much fame off of you, but the whole multi attack stratagy is generally how i win vs ships of the line. because mine frankly s**k.

The victor of a battle only gains half of the fame which the victor lose.
So when you were winning c.85k, he was in fact losing double that amount of fame. And when you were losing c.150k, he was only gaining half of that



Edit: It's there in the small print (http://s2.piratesglory.com/?page=help&action=plunder) I still think the word winner should be changed to victor in the description. Victor sounds cool

Acadien was asking why they appeared to only be winning half as much fame as their opponent when beating them in victory. I explained why. Is it my explanation ye don't understand? I can re-write it if so.
