I'm sick and tired of being used as a punching bag. Sure, I've made a few mistakes, but in the past few days, I have been reduced to next to nothing. I play this game as a way to distract myself from the real world. My rl life is stressful enough, what with school, my parents, and all the rest of the shit I have to deal with on a daily basis. So it really doesn't help much when I come online to 53 events and one of my greatest accomplishments snatched away in the blink of an eye just because I was frustrated that morning and needed a few good plunders.
I deal with way too much. I mean, I just found out that I'm likely a psychopath! So yeah, I'm upset. I'm crazy! I'm absolutely, positively off my rocker! So just back the everliving hell off, people! Give me some friggin breathing room here before I go nuclear!

you fast travel to hit my fleets multiple times screaming for attention
so i hit you with a lil hw dis combo like i do everyone else
giving you ample rope to hang yourself
you continue stalking me and get some more voodoo
you... i guess ... asked your guild or guildmaster to get involved
so i get a confuse cast at me that harmlessly bounces away
which leads to several light ups in your guild
and the return of the intent of you and your crew
but your intent was not matched at that point and i began stalking back
you continued hitting a target that for some reason your guild has been gangstalking and lighting up for two days
and that player had nothing worth taking
so i turned your name and danger over to someone who might take your fleet just to check it for double traits before giving it away
so with only minimal participation i watched then helped you lose your fleet

so i ask you
why would you ignore your own sentiment and not give someone some breathing room before you make them eyeball you back, weigh you, measure you and find you wanting?

Before we go into a good breakdown on the above, I thoroughly enjoyed how you named Argo as the reason you posted this.


53 Events. Wow that's like 2 pages. Be glad it wasn't 530 Events or more. Many players before you have woken to hundreds of events. Some of them whined here on the forums in, some got others to whine on their behalf, and some just knew that it could eventually happen and either just moved on or retaliated.

Every so often we seem to come across players that don't seem to understand that the only rules in this game are those defined in the game rules page. There are no rules defining what retaliation is, when to retaliated, or to what extent one should retaliate. While there are some best practices to retaliation, the level of retaliation is dependent solely on the whims and wants of the player retaliating.

For me, I find it interesting that this understanding of retaliation isn't being passed down from the veteran players to the newer players, especially if they are in a proper guild. If it was and the new player didn't listen, then that be there own fault.

Anyway. I'm all for some rum and popcorn while I await good memes, comical gifs, and pithy banter.

I've logged onto 378 events at one point. That's my record.

People have woken up to hundreds of plunder notifications alone, not to mention the voodoo that goes along with it. 53 events is an alarm you hit snooze on..

This game is so pathetic now. Some guy in here crying about 53 events... I used to not be able to sleep because if I did I would wake up to hundreds if not over 1000 events. I have lost more sotls and 60 point ones at that then you have ever touched.

This game has got so soft with everyone running their 4 sotl fleets around, it's absolutely dumb. If you ran 1 or 2 3 sotl fleets back when I started you were considered borderline nuts.

Well banger, guess you need to start stealing those fleets and setting a name for yourself. We all know who’s sailing those, so have at it
