The Golden Age Piracy is currently looking to recruit 1 player to this small guild. This player should be an active player logging on daily, have access to decent fighting ships (Nothing too powerful is needed), a small voodoo chest helps and basic knowledge of HN raids. The Golden Age Piracy is currently just myself, Sir Tony Bologna (44517), but with the right member we will be able to have a profitable and fun time being a pest to all of the Merchants of the game. A few more days are left of application collecting for the position and there are some great players looking to join! After this mornings HN raids with a profit of 11 Million between taken from two merchants, it was cut short by me canceling the HN's as I was low on turns! If you thought pirating was a low paying job, think again!

You just haven't told them about all the HN's lost trying to attack quite a few other merchants...

No HN is ever wasted, even if only one fleet gets lit up, it still proves a point. What is even better is when you find a ripe target with 559 ships, yummy

If the plunder is less worth than the HN's spend, that is indeed wasted HN's both in terms of card, value and turns.

I don't know the status he is pushing, but every day I have done an HN raid I have put green into the bank....

That might be, but let's say I drop 3 HN's, I get one big fleet, but Is that one fleet worth the turns and approx 350k the cards are worth in total?

That depends. If the cards were the result of "Presents" is it really a loss?

Then it's just a loss of turns, but then, how does one value their turns?

So you either sit on turns all day, or your burn them so you get your full potential. If you live off everything cost vs value you can miss out on a lot. In the long run it is not a good practice but if you have max turns and 400+ HNs, is it really a “loss” when you are having fun?


BTW there has only been 2 targets who were cleared very fast, but even then I still got hits in and made it worthwhile to me.
