This day, 178 of year 4, the island of St. Kitts is emerging onto the Avonmora map! After some in depth discussion two great kings, PhoenixKnight and William One Eye, have come to terms and are joining forces. At reset, St. Kitts will become a port controlling nation.
This day, 178 of year 4, the island of St. Kitts is emerging onto the Avonmora map! After some in depth discussion two great kings, PhoenixKnight and William One Eye, have come to terms and are joining forces. At reset, St. Kitts will become a port controlling nation.
Now this may look like a huge power move to control a large portion of the map. It is true that once all parties join St. Kitts we will control 9 ports. However it is our intention to reduce this number to 6. We are in the process of speaking to other nations and aspiring ones to bring them on to the map or further their port control. This shall be done with in the coming weeks.
St Kitts is rich in history. It was found by Europeans in the 1493, when Christopher Columbus was on his second voyage. But it really didn't come into its own until the 1600-1700's. Under English and French colonization, the island was rich in soil and became one of the largest Tobacco producing areas. This drew the eye of the Spanish who raided and took control of the island in the 1625. The Treaty of Madrid in 1630, gave the island back to England. But St. Kitts will never forget the atrocities the Spanish caused. By 1640, the Virginia's had taken over the bulk of the Tobacco trade so St. Kitts started producing Sugar Cane and did so for the next 365 years...
St Kitts has been and will continue to be a strong nation with strong leadership. All are welcome under its flag however we will not be participating in stipends at first.
