The Rules of Engagement
of the
Caribbean Trading Company.
The Caribbean Trading Company exists to gain fame and riches through peaceful trade. It does not conduct acts of piracy or make deliberate unprovoked attacks, either naval or voodoo, against the members of other guilds. Penalties for members who do so include dismissal from the Guild and are enforced.
If a member of the Guild is attacked without provocation, either navally or by voodoo, the Caribbean Trading Company will decide whether or not to demand reparation from those responsible.
The first course of action will be to use diplomatic means to seek reparation.
If diplomacy fails, the Caribbean Trading Company will determine its required reparation and seek to take it by force.
In the case of attacks on Allies the Guild will take defensive or offensive action as determined by the terms of the Alliance and the stance agreed with the Ally.
