So Random HELM member that I drive into ruin in the future:

I apologize [insert HELM name here] for laying waste to your merchant empire. You should inform your bosses that when you act like a pirate guild, when really you are a trader guild, you put everyone, especially the most poor, vulnerable junior member, god bless their little souls, into mortal jeoprody.

Instead of playing "Voodoo Gods" and spewing forth venom on all that may, oh my gosh, do a raid now and then--DOES NOT DISCOURAGE--ENCOURAGES--perhaps you could quietly go about your business and accept the occasional raid as "the price of doing business."

It works for ATC...and really, honestly, from the bottom of my heart--I hope your guild comes under genuine attack right now when you've so obviously emptied your coffers on your month long war on AyeCappy (no, that's not 30 pages of voodoo on Zomb, just me), you are ripe for the plucking from PK or someone wanting to pick the flesh from your decaying bones.

Look I'm going to be dead honest with you--I have never had any issue with you guys, in fact Majesty thinks you guys are the best thing since sliced bread (which is pretty cool if you've tried to slice you own), I have actually actively AVOIDEd contact with you guys. But as you brag so often, (always in pm's never in the forums, what are you guys deaf mutes? there are adaptive technologies...) you are a huge guild, it is hard not to stumble on a HELM merch fleet with high danger in Tortuga (god, sue me).

So to make a long story short, MR/MRS/MS victim, I'm sorry you have no ships and you have to start over. Tell your guild not to institute such policies on lowly pirates (try to have a pirate game without us, pretty boring, truth is we are the spice you y'alls potatoes) and this fate would not have befelled you.

By the way tell your boss that it sounds more ominous when you get the line right. In your guild description it says:

Christmas "HAS BEEN CANCELLED CUz YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY DIDN'T PAY THE RANDOM.... SORRY BOUT THIS..."

It's RANSOM, they did not pay the Ransom.

We are in a nasty ice storm here in Maine...no power all week. Internet is encased in ice still!!

Drove to town to say hi to you guys...see helm just can't let it be!

Phew. Finally back. We lost power for several days, but really it was my internet antenae--its 70' up in a pine tree and was totally encased in ice.

It finally melted today!!!!

Thanks to those in HELM who took it easy on me, and "BOOOO!!!" to those who didn't and Ticktock who launched a full scale ambush attack!!! Well, luckily I survived, family is fine, fleet is intact.

I officially start the year with zero grudges:) Ok maybe you ticktock...
