how many threads are going to be created on this subject? i do think we all know this is a problem, even the witch doctors thenselves.. so why keep saying the same stuff over and over and over and over... i mean seriously. we got the point.. lets stick to one tread on this subject and come up with a solution

You can delete my comment if you wish but it seems everything is on topic.
It started with 2 people being opinioned on and other people responding with supporting or argumentative opinions.
Proof being offered either way.
While it may seem off topic to someone who tries to protect Gnatsack Drag n Heels with every available chance
it is in fact counterproductive to threaten moderation when no topic derailment is actually in play.
(yes I know you get to decide what is off topic and offensive you have mentioned it enough to make sure we all know)

I personally do not think Roo actually intended a discussion of length instead I believe it was a rant
if he does not expect responses from anyone or an actual conversation what exactly are you moderating other than the name of your buddy being spoken about in a way you do not like.

But regardless of my opinions or thoughts you could easily ask Roo if he feels his topic is being desecrated with facts as a result
of the conversation thus far and if so then by all means cleanse the topic.
But do not simply stop there continue by doing this imposed need by visiting and cleaning every derailed topic in the forums
as I am sure if its such a bad thing they should not be derailed even now and each one that is will need a visit from you.

Now as a response to Roo after all my yapping I will say I hope the rant made you feel better but unless it was meant to just get things off
your chest its hardly worth mentioning a wd as its kinda like winning an award somehow

I had several intents.
1. Raise the flag again to remind admin that allowing this issue to continue uninhibited continues to make the game less enjoyable to play for many/most. Unlike many apparently, I am a paying customer, or at least I admit to it where others may not. Griefing is one of the reasons WoW created PVE realms fwiw.
2. Griefers who pretend to belong to a gaming community but in truth contribute nothing of any benefit to the other gamers in the community need to be pointed out as fraudulent every now and then. I take your point that naming them may give them some pride, but if your proud of being an asshat well it kind of says more than I can about your character.
3. I consider it a public service to warn other people about dog shit on the footpath, I found a couple of pieces and felt obligated to share my discovery saving many of you from having to clean said dogshit off your shoes.

Being very conservative, and I do mean very conservative, in the last three months I would have had well over a thousand offensive voodoo thrown at me by this lot and their part-time bum buddy, given that since I started playing the game I have never once cast offensive voodoo on a player other than in direct retaliation to a voodoo attack I feel I have some cause to comment, as minimally as I have in that period.

Those who view me as an arse hat will be right ...... I am one and never deny that fact but I am a reactionary guy.
If one sees an arsehat it is because they were an arse to begin with.
Thats most folks complaint I act on things without proof and occasionally I am wrong but every time I am right it reminds me
it is worth it to be wrong now and again.
As for my bunkmates I hang my hat in the guild I reside in if that offends anyone come knocking and I will use the erection you speak of as a club if I have nothing else
