In the general sense of trying to extort money from another player yes, this has happened before and nothing came of it; however, if he isn't going to do anything, why make the statement to specific players in the forums. And as I said, there is a difference between telling someone I'm going to jack you up and telling them I'm going to do this very specific thing.

It may be bullshit. It doesn't really matter. It comes down to principles and the fact that the threat is viable. You don't get an uproar from players if the threat wasn't viable. So let him take the heat that he brought down on himself. He did it on his own accord.

In my letter to "the 9" I did tell them that any money that is not used in the bounty will be returned to all that participate. This will be percentage based on what was contributed.
