But hey, not up to me to decide, just pointing out what was written.

No offence : I have been in many guilds , picked up a few tips during the time , made friends with many players that taught me different things.

Synyster once you learn the game there is nothing more to learn. He made the guide but i guess your jelous of a kid. If you are better, why you didn't build one before? If you find mistakes on it plz tell them. Otherwise why don't you just stop being a kid yourself?

Danik, open your eyes and read this post quoted from the kid, as well as the 2 posts that followed it. And really, now u got a problem with me? Sue me if it's libel.

Otherwise, create your own thread and name it after me, and u can dump whatever negative comments of me u want over there. This thread has the kid's name on it, and i did include criticisms both constructive and otherwise relating to the topic.

And please, what sour grapes again? How can i be sour when i haven't lost anything?

Well, I'll go by my own experience as a new player : I learnt more from, and with, a player who started on the same day as me. In fact, if he hadn't offered a hand of friendship, I would probably not have stayed past a few days in this game. That friendship has made the game for me, the companionship of my guild-mates and the fun of us all still working it out, still trying new stuff, failing at times but always trying to fail better. If I have a criticism of older players, and guilds, it's that they found a way to play and, cos it worked, they rarely ever changed it, or advanced beyond it. So when a newer player tries something that's a bit different, they get a bit discombobulated.

Its also a bit predictable that when they come up against a problem that their game style cant handle, they dont ask why that should be, they leap to assume some skull-duggery is at work. That's not confined to this game, it's common from the many I have played. No-one has ever lost cos they just weren't good enough on that day, it would appear. The claims against JR are nothing new : read back thru the forum and just about every player who has knocked heads with certain guilds have ended up being accused of cheating, spying, multi-accounting, being rude, being abusive, being a big coiner, being some-one else 'pretending' to be a new player : again, that's also my own experience of the 'sour grapes' that pour forth from certain quarters : I'll confirm again, for any who may have missed those memo's : I'm not Black Sparrow, not Sir Henry Morgan, not Rolando, not Admin and I'm not the Ghost of Xmas Past either.

Once you get past the basic mechanics of the game, how to navigate around being the biggest barrier to ease of play : its both a very simple and a very complex game : you can play it without any grand design or strategy and do well enough ; hours of fun and enjoyment at low cost. or you can explore its depths and fine-tune your play to grab every advantage to be found within the letter and spirit of the rules : then it's days of fun and enjoyment, at low cost. But for all that, a new player trying it on can make your great project trip over itself: bad timing maybe, a bit of luck, maybe some complacency and boom, you is in trouble : that's the nice bit of the game ; that's the bit some would excise for a rigid status quo, with themselves at the top of the food chain: of course, oddly, the proponents of such rarely want to be the food getting eaten.. and whine too loud, too often when their arse does get nibbled by the peasantry : that's the sour grapes of which I speak. So, get a sense of proportion, and if some new player tries some awkward and annoying tactic that your game style cant handle : figure out a new way to play that defeats them at best, neutralises them at worst. Lame claims of 'We wuz robbed!' do neither and also don't reflect well on the claimants.

Danik come on mate. Don't make so big post. It's hard for someone that doesn't speak good English to follow you. :D Give us the summary. I lost the point after some lines. :D

In a shocking allegation, published today in the Avonmora Excess ( All the news that's fit to print, but mostly, what isnt!), it was claimed that John Roberts is incapable of posting a letter! This follows similar claims that he cant tie his own shoe-laces, walk and chew gum at the same time, or eat spaghetti without using his fingers!

Further claims that he is an alien lizard, related to the Royal family of Great Britain via a secret liason with a corgi is unconfirmed.

How can i be jealous of him? I did give him tips and advice, even back when he was known as The Traders United, of course that was after he attacked me. Subsequently, when he created multis, he had at least 2 in ZomB, of which i willingly "trained" seeing how they appear new, with relatively new player numbers as well. Disappointing, seeing how "they" turned out to be false accounts.

As for guides, i believe most experienced players have their own, it's whether they are willing to share or not.

And really, how can i be acting like a kid if i don't correct the mistakes i find? Am i obliged to?
(Btw i keep calling him a kid cos he admits he's 15, and his behavior and attitude towards his in-game enemies reflect his age, assuming that he's telling the truth of course.)
