If player has less than 10 ships at sea, Magpie effect increases 10x removing 1 rare, 3 uncommon, 7 common voodoo cards from their chest.

I sacrifice 3 thieving magpies and create a new card. This card allows me to steal 10 cards. So come forth,Master thief.

If you believe in crippling them how about 10 magpies to create a Master thief which allows you 1 card of your choosing?
I would do that if I really wanted to impact you and were not seeking a get cards quick scam.
