As Charles Vane starts his USA ranks to Count, an old pirate crew member visiting the town stopped in at the tavern to congratulate him.
Charles told the pirate thank you but there was no need for her to be there bc there was nothing piratey going on and she would not be needed, thank you.
When MIAB asked the pirate what was said, she simply walked away.
Next item in was in regards to Sidney Obvious, a captain of Scotland. As a captain it is his duty to hunt sea-monsters and the Loch Ness Monster, Nessie, is no exception.
Explaining to MIAB, that when he has found her he can focus a little more on diplomatic affairs. He has his sights on a crown or two. Good Luck, Sidney.
MIAB asked Sidney how the hunt for Nessie is going.
He has yet to find her. Altho he says Scotland is kind enough to promote him no matter what sea- monster he turns up with.
Meanwhile Dark Warrior scores 1K total battles, and a peace treaty is signed between St Kitts and Spain, all in all a very busy day to continue on this list!
3072- A lot of gunfire and smoke could be seen and heard this day, as Captain Vader scores 1K total battles.
The ghostly spectre of the recently departed Bomont reaches 5K total Battles.
Pity he wasn't here to see it!
On the right phase of the moon, his ghostly figure can be seen still looking out to Chalkos from the helm of his flagship.
On this day also, Feniks reaches a massive 50K total battles. Mind boggling! In the past he has put his success down to
" Old # 07, his mate Jack and a big sack full of sandwiches".
Meanwhile, RJ cook becomes colonel of Bermuda and Sidney finds another sea-monster altho once again it is not Nessie. Sidney is promoted to major of Scotland anyway.
We report that on the day Charles Vane ranks to Marquess, his old pirate crew watch from a distance and stay silent.
3073- Charles Vane awakens the next morning to find himself a Duke of the US.
Dining with the Baron Rj Cook later in the day mostly discussing Davinci and his current rank up to Marquess in a day in Niger.
Again CDV finds himself surrounded by a swarm of fans and is quickly whisked away before MIAB can talk with him. Again.
3074- Pulpop starts a sawmill in Kanoni, This reporter was on the spot and during the congratulations asked Pulpop what is his favourite pass time. To which Pulpop replied in a deep growl with in an icy tone, " I like to send gifts of time spirals to those who think it is ok to try and rob me".
He leaned in so close to this reporter she felt it was probably best to make her leave. For now. Here we find humour in the idea tht he is just lucky as she is very busy.
MIAB was there also when old Meliva finally gets to 5K total battles after several years!

3075, Wally starts a workshop at Tortuga although MIAB suspects he may have other intentions for that workshop... But until we confirm the facts, we cant say any more due to legal reasons .

RJ cook ranks up to Marquess in Bermuda, Talon Steel get's to Colonel in Spain, Wally starts a plantation in Akrotiri, Malaysia revises ships owned tax, altho none has any idea why.
Buzz(formely known as Clockwork) quickly ranks up in China to score himself another crown on his journey. No beauties and no quesillidias left he settled for some boiled rice and string beans and retired early for the night and without fanfare.
3078-RJ cook becomes Duke of Bermuda, Capt. Johnny walker loses some treasure during a treasure hunt which was weird bc here at MIAB it is understood you are meant to find treasure,, not lose it.
Well known Avonmora identity and nation mogul, xPro, scores 10K total battles upon the seas. Stunning achievement indeed noted among many of his ever growing scroll of records xPro can sometimes be heard on the streets of Slackton seeking ships and folk to play with. He told MIAB he prefers to be inclusive and says "I will steal ships from anyone. I dont care..".
3079-Sidney Obvious ranks up to admiral then Baron for Scotland, two steps closer to the throne, other then that, t'was a very short day.
Sidnay quietly celebrates with the left over Haggis he has found in the meat locker in one of the kitchens. Cringing, MIAB hopes he sees tomorrow.
3080-China abolished ships owned tax under it's new king Buzz
William Pitt scores 5K total battles,
MIAB understands this journey has been fraught with difficulties as it has taken William so long.
Some pirate tried to help him a wee while ago but her attempts to light him up an get the battles needed were rejected and he showed her his contempt and his lack of appreciation by going right ahead and stealing not one but two ships from her .
Impeccable sources say the pirate was most 'confused 'after all, her intention was to help him reach that 5000k goal. MIAB knows this for a fact.
Also making the news is Anomander Rake earns the top helper award, very nicely done.
There was a great deal of back slapping and cheering in the tavern and a respectable ambience of bon homie prevaded. No scummy pirates fighting here. "It's all very dignified" a spokesmen commented.
3081- Still strolling the streets in his fine garb and imported embossed boots, Captain Dungeness starts a workshop at Tzogos, Again without a word to anyone. MIAB double checked and it appears he is still taking bribes. No shame.
3082-China revises Royal Stipends meanwhile Stan Rogers starts a plantaion in Seaglory in between patrolling the streets of slack, looking for bullies and miscreants to bring to justice..
Having time to open a workshop at St. Martin it would seem the need for crime fighting is low in Avonmora at thiis time.
Captain of the Seas ranks up to Baron in Dominica. Go, Captain!
3083- Sir Johnny English blustered in and grabbed Clockwork, picked him up and tossed him off the throne ordering him to take off to Columbia and not come back.
It is reported Clockwork thought for a moment before deciding he had worn this crown already and it was ok to move on.
3084- Nothing at all happened this day.
3085-Davinci quickly ranks up in Mauritania, while Buzz does the same in Comoro. Sidney Obvious meanwhile makes Marquess in Scotland, resulting in a rare triple marquess day. It has been three days since he last looked for Nessie and the nightmares have resumed.
Seems Sidney survived the Haggis meal and was last seen asking if there is any more.
3086- 'CONGRATS CDV", "CONGRATS CCW" (stamp, stamp) and Sidney, become kings of Comoros, Mauritania and Scotland respectively, while Damn the Torpedos starts a plantation in Thorokas>
Suspicions were raised earlier in the week and then William Pitt ranks up in the US passing captain and major and stopping at Colonel in a matter of hours. Folk are curious about this move and investigations reveal there may be a need for an inquiry . Something to do with an attempt to have someone attack Bermuda and break the recent treaty. By far the BIGGEST news this day is Pirates capturing Seaglory from Dominca- something that no one saw coming. Except maybe the pirates themselves.
3087- Sadly for the pirates, Dominica quickly takes Seaglory back the next day, Somewhat bewildered and a wee disappointed the pirates cheered themselves up with a pub crawl all over Avonmora. It worked. They were happy again soon indeed.

3088- Buzz and Davinci become kings in the Congo and Central African Republic respectively, neither of whom are greeted or swarmed by any beauties at all.
Willam Pitt,( who doesnt like to be called, "Mr. .Pitt for some reason", becomes a duke of the USA not dissolving the suspicions here.
A huge week for Sidney Obvious as he also scores 1K total battles,
Buzz quickly leaves the Congo to rank up in the Cook Islands.
3089-Buzz becomes king of Cook Islands and moves immediately to ranking up in Costa Rica, but surprisingly moves much slower then usual, only ranking up to Colonel in this day.
3090-Bermuda abolished it's expand port acres law, something to do with a new bordello in Gorum? Or so MIAB were told.
It is reported Axy loses some gold in a treasure hunt. MIAB is astonished at this news bc we thought you are meant to find treasure on a treasure hunt - not lose it.
3091- Buzz, after starting off slow in Costa Rica, having shaken some shame from his face, changes his name back to Clockwork, and finishes ranking up in Costa Rica after a day long break driving olther peoples ships up onto the beach in the hope they will just break up spilling their goods for easy pickins. Not doing so well we hear bc there are bounties aplenty at this time.
3092-Clockwork becomes king of Costa Rica, Captain Nemo Duke in the USA, and Captain of the seas Count in Dominica.
3094- Captain Joe becomes Admiral in the US while Talon Steel becomes Count in Spain while The Argonaut hangs up the black Flag to fly Dominicas, and ranks up to Colonel. This action also raised some eyebrows around Avonmora and had the nations leaders whspering and wondering. When aksed Argo shrugged and said, " no reason.. why not?"MIAB are still no wiser.
3095- The Argonaut ranks up to Marquess in Dominica, while Captain Joe becomes a baron of the USA.
3096- The Argonaut becomes a duke of Dominica, though whether she's done with the pirate life or not remains to be seen.
3097- Captain of the seas builds himself a hideout, when asked where it was, he responded it wouldn't be a hideout if everyone knew that!
3098- Leo the Conqueror ranks up to Major in Marhsall Islands, while Captain Joe becomes a Count in the USA.
3099-Today other then the old sea hag prattling and some weather, nothing of importance happenrd this day.
3100- Admin becomes king of Scotland, as Sidney Obvious gives up the throne to move on.
3101-After 2 days of little happening, we have another busy day, as Leo ranks up to Colonel in Marhsall Islands, while Sidney Obvious who left Scotland ranks up to Colonel in British Virginia Islands. Tristan becomes a captain in the US while Talon ranks up to Marquess in Spain, Bermuda revises royal stipend law. Captain of the Seas ranks up to Marquess in Dominca.
3102- Merlana ranks up to Marquess in the USA, while Leo ranks up to Admiral in Marshall Islands, some folks claimed a storm was brewing, but the weather stayed calm
3103- Leo the conqueror ranks up to Baron of Marshall Islands, weather was quite nice this day, no storms or thunder at all in the ports.
3104- Haron surprises many when he begins to sail the Bermudan flag, ranking up to Colonel , while Gerbera scores 1K total battles stating " I get that this is a milestone, but somehow I don't feel like this is much of an accomplishment. Probably has something to do with the overall win rate"
Suddenly Gerbera was surrounded at the bar by such players as xPro and SilverShadow offering free advice and encouragement. Nice.
3105-Sidney finishes his ranking and becomes King of the British Virgin Islands, while the Argonaut scores 20,000 total battles.
3106- Haron finishes his missions in Bermuda, becoming a duke of the nation, a cease fire happens between Malaysia and British Virgin Islands, a huge surpsie since many were unaware of hostilities in the first place,
Soliel quickly becomes Queen of the Vatican City State, and spends her days now hanging out with her new friend "Il Popo"
Leo becomes King of Marshall Islands, quickly revising the ships owned tax law. It is also rumoured he dares to think about challenging the pirates for their hard earned ranking spots. Watch this space.
3108- Kim Jong Un seizes control of North Korea becoming king, a surprise since many thought he always had control, and that wraps up the latest events, now I think I will be having myself a nap.
