A New Location Idea

The Isle of Demise
Created from the huge expenditure of Black Death voodoo conjured recently that fell upon most citizens of Sea Glory. The Isle is large formation raised from the seas by powerful dark voodoo, a huge ships graveyard rings the Isle preventing quick and safe travel. Beyond the wrecks loom a series of reefs and finally a huge ongoing storm drenches the Isle constantly. Those who venture to close begin to hear the moaning chorus of the dead that inhabit Isle waiting for those foolish enough to seek its damned treasures.
[Benefits: The Isle is a new location that can offer new and different challenges; it will require extra turns or time to navigate the perils around it. It will also cost 1 Black Death voodoo to traverse to the Isle. This will lower the number of circulating cards and prevent future near total destruction of ports. I believe this propels the storyline and shows the players consequences the of their actions in game. Once the traveler succeeds in reaching the Isle they can attempt to interact.]

The Isle itself is huge mass or rock and coral ripped from the seafloor of Avonmora. Many dangerous angry spirits fill the area seeking to steal the life from interlopers.

The Shallows
[This would be the combat area where even the strongest players can test their mettle. The rewards are whatever you think reasonable but they should be greater than normal battle. The fame as well should be commensurate. This would be the plunder screen choice for the Isle. All damage from the Undead costs twice as much to repair on the Isle. Only one visit can be attempted per day to retain the location's unique feel]
The Markets of Perdition
[This would be the Market screen choice for the Isle. It will contain all the resources available in the game besides gold bars. All costs are +3 the base price for convenience]

The Dusty Bilge
This is a rotted and broken series of reclaimed ships crafted into a tavern. The hungry and thirsty dead congregate to exchange stories and leer at the living who frequent this place. In the back room which costs ( a large amount of gold and/or small amount of credits) to enter will allow the player a secret of the dead. [This is randomly generates 1 random rare voodoo card.] They may do this once per week, however no new voodoo needs to be created.
[In my opinion as way to benefit the game, determine more accuracy in the game's size and player base, the gold and voodoo be generated by reclaimed treasures. In my short time I have seen multiple different players in various guilds who are long-term in-actives. I'm sure there are many of these players. They are often the targets of their enemies, own guild and allies. I believe these extra accounts must waste space on the main server. I propose that after six months of inactivity their treasure and rare voodoo be fed to the Isle for other players to seek.]
[This would be the Tavern section choice for the Isle. It would allow normal functions plus a new selection.]

The Hall of the Dead King
Deep in the cavernous waterways beneath the Isle there is a court of the greater Undead. Sitting on a throne carved from a tooth he stole from the Leviathan, he grimly scans the chattering Undead in his Court with hands folded. Deep green fires fill his hallow eye sockets as a grin flashes across his skeletal face. He plots revenge on the current Lords of Sea Glory for those who banished him to the deep centuries ago.
[I believe this provides multiple benefits. Those inactive accounts who are reclaimed can be the first victims of the Dead King. This would also provide a greater enemy that should promote Guild and Player cooperation. It would also give players incentive to keep accounts active by providing greater opportunity for reward. It would create the opportunity for new plots and endless challenges.

If this is added some sort of vacation mode should be implemented so that players that leave the game but fully intend to come back wont have their stuff taken. Although i doubt many people will come back after six months....it is possible.

I am not against the thought of having a new location added, especially if it has some unique and entertaining functions. I do feel this needs updating and work though.

Vote to be moved to discussion. I have also added some thoughts in red.

(Agree, move to discussion) - Skyhawk, Clockwork

The Isle itself is huge mass or rock and coral ripped from the seafloor of Avonmora. Many dangerous angry spirits fill the area seeking to steal the life from interlopers.

The Shallows
[This would be the combat area where even the strongest players can test their mettle. The rewards are whatever you think reasonable but they should be greater than normal battle. The fame as well should be commensurate. This would be the plunder screen choice for the Isle. All damage from the Undead costs twice as much to repair on the Isle. - I would see this as a prime place for a unique monster to show up once a week or so. Players can bring their best fleets here to attempt to kill it within a given time frame. Put a limit on turns used or attacks per player per day to require teamwork. Rewards can be based on damage contribution to get large ships out. This would also promote travel to the island which would cost specific voodoo as outlined in the pre listed benefits.

The Markets of Perdition
[This would be the Market screen choice for the Isle. It will contain all the resources available in the game besides gold bars. All costs are +3 the base price for convenience] - Given plantations are here and the economy is headed towards player driven I believe no market should be on the island.

- Perhaps the secret is a generated map piece. Once per week a player purchases this information with credits (5?) giving them a piece of the map. With (5?) pieces a complete map can be turned in for 2 free booster packs?

[In my opinion as way to benefit the game, determine more accuracy in the game's size and player base, the gold and voodoo be generated by reclaimed treasures. In my short time I have seen multiple different players in various guilds who are long-term in-actives. I'm sure there are many of these players. They are often the targets of their enemies, own guild and allies. I believe these extra accounts must waste space on the main server. I propose that after six months of inactivity their treasure and rare voodoo be fed to the Isle for other players to seek.]
[This would be the Tavern section choice for the Isle. It would allow normal functions plus a new selection.] - dont like this concept personally.

This would also provide a greater enemy that should promote Guild and Player cooperation. It would also give players incentive to keep accounts active by providing greater opportunity for reward. It would create the opportunity for new plots and endless challenges. - Could be an extreme boss to show up once per month on the islands plunder board. Extra hard and exceptional rewards if beaten.
