Making tons of gold

A long time ago before I left, I had an idea to make lots of gold that is outside of the scope of the game's expectations.

It is very difficult and also risky, but the amount of gold you can make, is technically linear growth but is limitless and has no hard cap. (Unless the devs ends up adding one)

Forced Labor and Military Service creates gold based on 10X and 20X of each count of crew and cannons you own respectively.

A ship can still hold crew and cannons even if they are not in a fleet, and because they aren't in a fleet, they aren't limited by captain, admiral or merchant counts which cost increases exponentially.

The plan is simple, which was to build and buy sloops and only sloops, because they are turns to crew and cannon count efficient. By stocking up on a bunch of fleetless sloops, with their only use because that they hold crew and cannons, you can, at high numbers, potentially make tens and hundreds of millions per card, or even, billions in a day from multiple casts.

I am posting this because I will probably never work on getting to that point. And this is so people know this is something you can do, takes lots of effort and is super dumb and risky that some system change would specifically target this when the devs catches on.

PS: You can become a pirate to reduce the upkeep costs.

PSS: You can make a deal with other people on the agreement that you will pay them for them to cast on you too.

PSSS: Forced Labor and Military Service are uncommon cards but is plentiful.

Dez, I think this gentleman is asking for Forced Labor and Military Service to be capped.

it's cute how you keep referring to the "devs" as though there were some risk of ... development.

This game is officially dead. There is one "dev" who's clearly got better things to do than even fix bugs, much less identify and mitigate any sort of game exploits. And your suggestion is only using game mechanics, so not sure why you're worried.

The folks who keep reporting bugs and, even worst, suggestions, just crack me up. CJ is never going to put any more effort into this game than he absolutely must to keep the cash-for-credits income trickling in. One day, when the hardware on CJ's master/slave Windows servers and RAID array dies and can't be replaced easily, this entire game will simply cease to exist. Do whatever you want. There are no rules, beyond Dez wielding his pathetic admin powers.

So basically you thought you found an exploit and rather than report it you thought about how you could cheat....

Ok so its not difficult or risky. Im mean somone could ravage you, but why would they.

The limit here is the cost of credits vs the value of these cards.

Current value of a forced labor card is about 2 million
And current value of a military service cards is about 1 million

Thats not including turns used and any profit a caster is hoping to make.

If your willing to waste your time go for it but you need a lot of crew and cannons to make it work.
If your using small craft thats a huge number.... like cdvs ship count.

This is not an exploit its a way for large traders to use turns to offset upkeep.

If 1 or 2 people reach a ship count large enough to turn a profit on these casts good for them.

If someone can make more money on this than trading i would be impressed.

If you think its an exploit you should message cj directly,
rather than telling the community they should try it out.

Oh really??? Hey I am thinking of starting an OnlyFans account!! I could advertise here. Also I could also use some help getting it started. Are there any good photographers here? I was always worried to ask because of soliciting but seems like maybe this is a good opportunity.
