I am looking for players interested in joining my efforts to further the development of piracy, naval warefare, and voodoo. CJ is looking to make a new batch of voodoo cards and I feel, as a community, those interested in helping should come together to make some real quality suggestions.

Send me a message to ID 66509 or post here in the forum if you are interested.

Or you could write a discussion thread so the entire community can discuss it to a point where it can be built into a quality suggestion.

Most suggestions i have seen from our most active suggestions are either -1 this is bad or -1 because you.

I have only seen a few people actually say “it isnt a -1 or +1 because this still needs work. If you add this or maybe incorporate this, it may be a better mechanic to consider.”

Knowing this, most suggestions are shot down immediately without even considering to construct upon the bad suggestion to make it a good suggestion. It seems its a game of who makes a one hit wonder suggestion instead of a constructive feedback.

I've seen a lot of discussions going on when people know how to discuss and don't call names people whom disagree with original post

As the same here. I have also seen discussions where everything from the opposing perspectives to suggestions were shot down with facts and logic without calling names as well. The recent “War Branding” law suggestion is a good example of downright attempts to shoot down without making real constructive criticism. Most of the comments were aimed at players and repetitive argumentation rather than constructive argumentation.

With this idea in mind, i will be bumping suggestions in the past to bring up more ideas for development upon. Anyone wishing to also aim for a better PG can join my efforts to push for more mechanics involving ships and voodoo.

And yet certain players started calling names first then complain if someone returns the favor.

Certain players also accuse with no real proof of posts that mention name calling in forums. Quotations and locations found of the quote are especially helpful for proving a point.

What does that have to do with what I wrote. Are you illiterate, did you fail reading comprehension?

You posed a request to have a private discussion on building a suggestion for some new voodoo ideas. I posted you should just post an open discussion, as this is a community developed game, then take what was discussed and turn it into a quality suggestion. Then you posted some crap tangent on suggestions.

If you wonder why people give you crap, look no further than this.
