Thanks everyone

I wanted to thank you all for your help. I was sick with a bad fever this week, and wasn't able to come on. I returned today to find almost 1500 attacks, and i went from almost 500 fleets to 1. Everything is gone.

I really want to thank the Isle of Man and VUDU for stripping me relentlessly of everything. A year of work gone in a few days. So thank you all for helping me come to that conclusion that this isn't the game for me.

To all those who helped me and made the game fun in the past, thank you and good luck.

Oh and Honerable mention goes to El Babosa for casting somewhere over 10 vudu on me to get it started.

I know you all are bored, but this is why your loosing people, this is why traders are becoming few and far between.

I would like to formally apologize. I did not expect this outcome. I was a trader once and I know how it feels. I meant to cast a bit of voodoo, attack a few trade fleets and get maybe a mil. I never want to drive anybody away from the game

Many people have started over many times and while I do not intend to sound callous I have to point out an active guild is an asset.
The voodoo that was cast was overkill and after it was cast he was counseled to that effect.
But do you think he would withdraw the voodoo once cast?
In your last post you were advised that an active guild could be beneficial and still you chose to remain in one less populated.

I understand your anger and have felt the gut-wrenching wish I could close my eyes but I have to read this sensation
but in all honesty we have all felt it to some degree.

You can fold and say the game isnt for you or you can stay and just like everyone else build and find your place.
I would hope for the latter but in the end only you can decide that.

If you stay you will grow.
If you dont then it was nice meeting you. :pirateflag

I was sick, Vudu casted
Trade master – 1
Favorable Winds – 5
Fugives from Justice – 3
Hostle Natives -3

Then your members casted more on me. Yes i was looking to join you guys, I was staying loyal to the one person still in the game that helped me the past year. You guys took 500 fleets from me in a few hours. Don't tell me i should have been more active, or been in a more active guild, great you proved your point. This is a horrable thing to do to someone who is here to have fun and has done nothing to any of you. You do this to people who have wronged you.

Jack, if your reading, this was my point in my last post. The mechanics are messed up if Vudu can use Vudu to do this to someone in just a few hours on a whim to the loyal players of your game. You dont need advertising, you need to find a way to keep the kids with the magnifying glasses from burning all the ants when they are bored.

Have to concur with Dman about the lack of activity of your guild ... yes its horrible (Ive been lit up like a christmas tree myself from time to time) but you can bounce back & really quickly if you want to stick around -there are always players who are willing to help players rebuild after something like this happens ...

I sympathize with you mate in the fact that this particular attack was perhaps a bit excessive.

Although, you do need to recognize that PvP is an integral part of the game. Pretty much every veteran player will tell you that they have been “zeroed” at some point. The thing that separates the average from the extraordinary players is their ability to rebound and rebuild. Sure, it sucks a ton that it happened to you, but to say that the game should eliminate such PvP functions because you lost a lot isn’t really practical. It is simply part of the game.

And also, how would VUDU know you are sick? It’s hardly fair to hold that against them.

Purse checks, frequent cb casts to check if the player took the manual presents, if gold keeps accumilating, casts start to come in.

I have been busy and didn't really take part in this raid.. However I would have given the chance.

I will say this.. I have zero'd (myself) many times and rebuilt. I have built and built and then built some more.

Few weeks back I too had over 500 ships. I now have 50. Easy come easy go.

Rebuild, become stronger, maybe try another game path. It will make you a better player, trust me.
