Quartermaster Journal

A new feature idea has been born from the popular forum topic Kart opened here

This feature will enrich Quartermaster, Avonmora Herald, game lore and future missions/quests.

Literally, we speak of events to remember and that will be in memorial every year at the same day. Events such as wars, game records and more can be included. This is the point of this topic, to record every such event. Administration will then decide which of the events posted here, will be then copied into the feature.

I will make the start, with the first ever recorded event:

Day 195 (1290): Kart decided to start hiring captains! A big contest has been initiated by him to celebrate the event.

Can we make records of earlier dates?

Examples:
1201 start of the Baramas war, Midway, USA and Egypt fought over Baramas for 20 days.
606 First Mercenary guild MERC in Avonmora is established.

How about the date the first player reached 1000 Captains?
Also I think there should be some holidays for epic players who went inactive:

Joe boot losing over 25 sotls in one day to ZomB
Xepshunall using tidal waves + pouch of gold to reach the gold cap in one day
SGT Blue's and Xepshunall's conquest of Tortuga to 2B influence using Charity Donations
The first true voodoo raid completed by the Pirate Kings (lead by Black Sparrow against Captain Dungeness)
The establishment date of certain noteworthy guilds (guilds still active after multiple years)
The Great Leviathan Wars
The opening of the first bank in Avonmora: USFR Central Bank by Rothschild
The opening of the first level 20 bank: USFR Central Bank by Rothschild
The opening of the first level 20 goldsmith by Captain Da Vinci
MAjesty's conquest of the PK guild by ZomB
Sir Henry Morgan's battle with Rolando when a dozen sotls sank
The first King in Avonmora: Sir Henry Morgan of Barbados

Also Holidays for large game updates:
The day Voodoo entered Avonmora
The day Avonmora was named by Xepshunall
The day Hideouts were first built (Danik)
The day PG reached 50,000 players
The day the Avonmora Herald was first published
The very first day a captain sailed the seas of an unexplored world! Player #1!

EDIT: corrected a few details.

Aye, The bank ID references the hide-out number : so, maybe not the first bank.. but I do have the first hide-out :)

Good list , a few corrections though :

Sir Henry Morgan's battle was with Rolando

The name avonmora was coined by Admiral Blackpants and her guild ( a training guild under TMN )and i know that cuz i was a member.

If memory serves, Xepshunall also did have about 2 Billion influence (not sure though) ?

Also the PK vs TMN wars was a big event too so that can be added.

Damn. I got a bit nostalgic last night. Haven't seen Pirate Roberts around for a long time.
So i started to look at some old battles where he plundered Boots MOW and DTT's MOW.

I surely miss him around - he made it very interesting to be here.

Perhaps these two battles should be in the records?
