I have an extra statistic that I have obtained today from the game databases.

I thought to share.
During 2018, 7831 new players signed up to the game. A small percentage of them still plays today. It's a number below 10% though which means that our retention numbers are low. It becomes evident that in order to grow our playerbase, we need to find ways to increase our retention rates.

Also, I can see that we have nearly 18,000 characters in Avonmora right now. We will attempt to reduce this number as a fraction of them are considered active (as posted at the report: Characters flagged Active 4,882 ). This will happen soon. This means that the criteria for considering a character as important for the game history will become stricter.

Deletion with the stricter criteria has been completed. Around 6500 characters have been removed from the game.

What determines if a account gets deleted from inactive or not?

Want to know so I don't worry that my account suddenly disappears after 1 year of inactivity.

What determines if a account gets deleted from inactive or not?

Want to know so I don't worry that my account suddenly disappears after 1 year of inactivity.

I do not know for sure and no one else does apart from admin; and that is how it should be.

Nor should none take my words to heart. But I would imagine these conditions have to bet:

1) The account has been inactive for 1 year+
2) The player has no amazing past (Xepshunall, SGT Blue and TPK for example would not be deleted due to their past.)
3) The player has made less then X posts in forums. (Included with #2 I suppose)
4) Player has less then X assets (Voodoo, Ships etc)
5) The player has spent money before - Obviously this does not mean anything but, those who paid for something do not want to lose it (Ties in with #4 sometimes, although a player can have great assets and not spend a dime).

However, Grimrock. I would not worry about your character... They cant delete it, else who else will we make fun off, I mean! Talk about!
