General Discussion has been cleaned up

Ahoy,

We have finished the cleaning up from General Discussion. Hundreds of topics (thousands of posts) have been read one by one and then have been filtered as needed.

What we basically did is the following:
-Any worthwhile idea, has been kept and incorporated in a new discussion.
-Any popular discussion, has been kept and OP has been notified to create a suggestion out of it.
-Any outdated ideas have been moved to the archives.
-Any discussions still too early to close or with potential,have been kept open.

I recommend using the archives only as reference. If an idea you like is now there, read carefully the replies on the topic to understand how it ended up there. Then try to come up with a different version before creating a new topic for it.

Any topic still in General Discussion, is an open case.

We will now now do the same with suggestions thread, which has been through this procedure multiple times already. Our criteria will be stricter this time and many of them will end up disapproved or at the archives. I will be informing OPs via PMs where we need help to continue the idea.

Our objective is to clean up most of the ideas that are unfitting or outdated. The large number of open suggestions/discussion is not helping priorities and we all end up lost in the sheer number of them.

I will be updating here anything related.
