really they break often when people put them in the cd-drive...


my dads work goes through 500+ floppy disks a day 90% of them are broken upon arrival and most of the others break within 30 days of them being used first. only 5 have lasted more then a year there

Are you sure you don't mean punch cards? Floppy disks are pretty durable unless you abuse them. I still have working 5.25" Floppies for some old Apple II games.
