Bermuda Daily - Issue #85: Green Onions

One of the most famous instrumental songs by Booker T and the MGs appeared in 1962. The band is well known. Booker T was hit by the Beatles' album Abbey Road later in the 60s, so they decided to make an own version of it: McLemure Avenue in which the instrumental band broke their no-wording by singing a little part of the Beatles' lirycs.

Here on air on Radio Image Bermuda a live version, executed at a little faster pace than the album one, of Green Onions by Booker T and the MGs.
Look at the people in the audience. Very different than today audience at a live concert :)

Enjoy!

And the original album version. Published in 1962, the song gave the name to the debut album of the band too.
