Motown, one of the most important labels from 60s to 80s. Founded by Barry Gordy, this label released the first albums by many well known artists. In 1970 Motown published the Christmas Album by a "boy band", formed by five brothers. They were famous already, having published a few albums before. Their talented vocalist, even if he was just in his 20s had even released a solo funky and r&b album. His solo career is going to last, but in 1970 he was "just" the youngest of the five.
Being brothers, these five simply chose for their band their last name: The Jackson 5.
