To avoid spoiling the answer, please write me in game.

Of course the "award" :chest is very small, just symbolic. On the other hand it is a very easy contest set up for entertainment. :beer

Wow, thank you Wolfie!

Time to give an hint, at least.

At the time this album was published, critics gave it good reviews. Nontheless it reached the #1 in no Nation where it appeared.
It wasn't the first album by this male artist, yet it's been the first in a different sense anyway, and a sort of break even point.
:!: :!:  :!:

Time ended.
No one won, but all those who made a guess will be awarded :)

The title "fifty one and a half", made by a male artist, not his first album but the first in a different sense, was a reference to:
Thirty Three and a Third by George Harrison. The first album he published when the contract with Apple/EMI-Parlophone ended and with his new record label Dark Horse. It was appreciated by critics and had good reviews, but it didn't sell well.

It was difficult and all the guesses were good! Congrats!
