In 1967 appeared an album with a simple and yet weird cover: a banana. In the following years it'll become more an more known as the banana album for its cover, designed by Andy Warhol.
That newly formed band Velvet Underground, and specifically their leader Lou Reed and their producer Warhol, chose an obscure skinny girl from Germany with a unique voice to sing three of the tracks. The album didn't sell as they expected, but later it became a piece of legend.
