No specific reasons but fun. Just listening to this band that I'd like to share here on air at Radio Bermuda. This Italian band named Elio e le storie tese has been performing since the 90s. They usually like to write and play songs with a humorous background both in lyrics and in executions. The one presented today is Ritmo sbilenco, taken from their album Figgatta de blanc, which even from the name remembers and teases the Police album Reggatta the Blanc, and at the end of the song the musicians play making funny voices.
I keep being on air, from time to time, for the few occasional listeners. Have fun.

I forgot to add a few words about the progressive and regressive in the title. The song is about all those unusual tempos and paces in music, saying that if something like progressive's paces exist, then also regressive's should exist. And in the song there's an example of a regressive one, which the band think it might be the very very simple 4/4

I add then another fun fact: the album cover not only refers to Reggatta de Blanc by The Police (1979) but also is both a mock and a tribute to 90125 by Yes (1983) and to Three of a Perfect Pair by King Crimson (1984).
I just realized I didn't make an Issue about these bands. Yet.
