I don't know if I'm the only one to notice, but the instant messenger at times can be a bit hard to use.

In order to send messages to someone, you sometimes have to click one person's name and then click the desired person's name on top of that in order to open the IM.

Can it be simpler and easier to use? Send a message, new messages, etc. Not some complicated exact order in which you must click people's names.

It could be that it's actually already easy and I'm doing it wrong.

No, I'm using a chrome OS.

Well if you are using a touchscreen, your screen calibration can be off, so your computer is clicking lower than what you are actually touching.

I use Chrome Browser using both a mouse and trackpad and I don't have any issues with the instant messenger. I click on the name and it pulls up without issue.

Huh. I can't explain it, but often I have to click on another name and then the name I want to pull up the messenger.

Is your Browser and OS up to date?

Yep, I believe so.

I've also tried it on a Windows also using chrome, but as far as I can tell the same problem occurs.

Also I just tried it on my phone and it works fine.
