(Rare) Vanishing Mist

(3 turns)
(24 hours)

For the duration, the target ship disappears(Similar to how ships are in the marina).
If target ships is in a fleet, the ship will rejoin the fleet with the original danger once the duration is over.
If the fleet it is to return to have max ships when the duration is over, the ship will return in a stand alone fleet with original danger+18 more danger.

Prime use would be to be used to protect high valued ships in case if the marina is full, or if a player is being attacked.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh, it seems that I wouldn't be able to make my voodoo ideas this week.
Also, the duration maybe too long.

Up for discussion.

Edit: The danger will not disappear.

This is like a more powerful version of hideout. Its very useful to those protecting their ships. Very harmful to someone who has invested a lot to steal those ships. If this were a card it should be legendary and relatively costly to make.

3 hide out
4 serenity
1 confuse
5 favorable winds
5 flood

Or something along those lines.

Duration is fine, should require whole lot more turns to cast. Other wise a pirate could destroy you and then just dissapear. With a high turn use they would have to stop with enough turns to cast this. With the 600 turn limit use of this for that purpose will have to be considered strongly. Think something like 75 turns

I think it should still take up a spot in the fleet, just be invisible. Having it returned as a stand alone ship would make this a way to use strong ships to attack, then remove them with this, fill up the fleet, and when the ship returns, it has no danger. It needs to return to the fleet with high danger after the 24 hour period, I think.

Apart from that, I think this is among your better suggestions, Grimrock.

I strongly agree - I miss read the initial post and just assumed this was the entire fleet

Should it be rare or a legendary?

Its should be a legendary card.
I would just make it hide the entire fleet for 24 hours, then the fleet returns with any danger it would still have left after 24 hours of drop. However if it only removes specific ships, it should work as Haron suggests.

We already have the "Hideout" card, which reduces the danger of a fleet by 18. This card is SLIGHTLY different, since it makes your ship (or maybe the entire fleet is better), but not very much. After 24 hours, it will reappear with 24 less danger, after all.

Doesn't seem powerful enough to really be legendary, although it IS more valuable than a "hideout" card.

Too many protective cards. -1.

If you are going to own a war fleet; you should be willing to accept the consequences of owning one.

It does the same thing as a Marina. Basically a copy of an already existing game mechanic.

Sure you can call it a voodoo and add a ton of requirements, but its sole purpose is still the same as the Marina.

with CJ's suggestion to postpone entrance to marina or auction for stolen ships, this card would be the answer.
for that reason only it should be legendary already
