Port missions (Large)

This thread is the merge of two ideas, this one from me

While older players would probably think these are too cheap missions, I think this may help people at the beginning in exploring the map and having some gold to build the first ships.

Governer's Daughters:
This was Sir Henry Morgan's idea, and I think it would tie in nicely. Currently, governer's daughters with whom you are not married to offer nothing besides fame. The idea was that based on your relationship with them, they offer useful rumors. Some of these could be more missions, which are harder or better then the governer ones.

Starting list of mission ideas:

-A Noble / Trader / Witch doctor wants passage to a certain port
-NPC fugitive at a certain port
-Lost ship in the vicinity of a port (Uses shipwreck hunt to rescue the ship)
-Transport specialty goods to a certain port
-Deliver a message to a certain port
-Rescue a governor's daughter! ( A little more heroic then just sneaking in lol)

if that does get implemented i would make the top one 1k-2k crates and only repeatable 5 times before the crates increase in quantity along with the gold but i would have it level out with 100k gold for 20-30k crates.

+1 for idea. it will add nice aspect for missions.

My suggestions (pairing with your suggestions):
The reward can increase flat amount each time you succeeded the mission which will make this missions even popular for older players.

There should be 3 type of missions like beginner missions and daily cap for how many times you can take this missions;
For merchants like you said bring x amount of resource in X hours to this port, organize a party(rum, tobacco, potato) in this port,
For Pirates/privateers Defeat X amount of enemy of state in nation's ports in X hours.
For nobles transport x amount of immigrates in X hours, invest x amount for build up ports.

Also the reward can be increased by nations. So nations will decide to the final reward. A flat amount will be paid by game for each missions but nations can add some more reward for that missions.

I hope i can give more feedbacks in time, mostly i rewrite what you suggested:)

A daily cap would be necessary, I agree with both of you. A daily cap of five missions (just a proposal, debatable) could be a good cap. I mainly think of these kind of missions for new players, anyway. That's why I think of such small rewards not appealing for an older player.
As for the increase I'm not sure... the increase should maybe be very small, or these kind of missions may become too much rewarding.

Maybe have harder missions with greater loot if you got X amount of ships, or X amount of Large Frigate or Sotl.

I am in favor of anything that would help new players get past day 1. Simple tasks to boost interest over and above the current missions.
