I feel like all new players should have an icon next to their name on the plunder board and skirmish list, I sometimes find the plunder board full of new players that I can't attack.

I would rather just not see them. They take up a space on the plunder list which is limited to 10 unless you spend additional turns to see more.

Or by their player ID. But yeah it would be nice if any player under beginner protection had some sort of icon next to them.

Not necessarily. A player can surpass 1000 turns (the protection) and still have low gc and small fleets.

As Meliva said, Player ID is a good indicator, but that also may not always be accurate. If I knew what I know now, I could start an account and spend almost no turns, buy a good set of fleets, make large sums of money, and still have protection for a very long time.

New player can also elect to forgo their protection to hit away on bigger player.

At least that is what my memory recalls. I could be wrong.

Agree with Shadow, I'd rather not see them on the plunder board at all.
If no one is allowed to hit them, they shouldn't be on plunder board.

Specially not if they are fake accounts, because none of them new accounts are talking anyway. So they're all fakes if you ask me.

I'm going to refrain from posting my comments until after Shadowood states his opinion. Therefore when someone agrees with Shadowood's idea, he will actually have said it first.

Don't worry about. I just find it ironic, as this is the second topic in the last few days where this has occurred. In the other topic I stated the issue a good 3-4 times in different posts, then Shadowood says the same thing and one post later, "I agree with Shadowood".
