If the selection of the target card is the same as Magpie or Presents, then the odds of a card being chosen are the same if you have 1 or 1000 of them. The only way to change the odds is to have some of all of them....

It's not meant to combo with Ravage but it can surely be used in this way.

It will only kick in if the ship is lost. Perhaps we should skip the sink part for the Ravage issue. I will update the first post.

So if a merchant who uses single cutter fleets gets plundered and loses 20 of his fleets I would gain 20 random rare cards?

I think this is a decent idea, but forces many strategies out of the game.. same as the other plunder voodoo suggestion.

would this make all inactives voodoo farms on top of that they are currently used to obtain free captains? also same might apply to those who are trying to reach 500 ship mission, atleast until avonmora runs out of ravages

this is definitely strong suggestion. and will open a lot of strategies. with team effort you can easily took bunch of rare card from an opponent but it will be also viable option to farm inactives who have good voodoo stash.

What kind of strategies it forces out?
Even in your gamestyle, you lose 1 rare card per fleet lost. Not a big deal. It's actually another buff for ship plundering. With this, even cheap ships like cutters, will have value when plundered which is only fair in our perspective.

Yes. It is also considered by us yet another guild buff. I know that some might find this misleading but it can make a difference in both inactives and wars.

Aye, I would foresee a run on ravages and many spy networks being cast winkling out prospective targets, much as some actively target them for ships already.. and magpie raids : I dont see it as a problem : the voodoo exists, has already been generated by the game but currently sits doing nowt : and just because you find/ravage/light/zero an inactive, doesnt mean you always get to grab the prizes : beware the greedy ninja!
