I seem to remember someone putting forth the idea of being able to group several vessels together to allow lesser value ships to be sold. Since I assume we don't want to have a bunch of partial credits laying about. I think this a good solution to the problem of the forever listing. I hate the idea of waiting 12 months for a bad marketing decision to be rectified. Especially if the original listing was only one credit anyway.
