{{STILL NEED TO EDIT}}
""When did voodoo cards appear anyway?" you may ask... well... ages ago, in the beggining of this era, sailors often resorted to witches or sorcerers to help them out seeking glory and coin. The price? Their soul. The first time they recurred to voodoo they had to sign with their own blood... upon death, their body would go to Davy Jones' Locker but their soul would remain here and there, nowhere and everywhere... a torture like some may say. Firstly, every spell cast required a lot of the witch's strenght, they had to use every stamina and energy on their body just for a simple Spy Network or Flood... so, they tried to find a way around that exorbitant use for their strenght so they studied everything, every option and idea, being then the second stage on the search of Voodoo Cards being:
Stage 1 - Use of the witch's strenght to cast spells
Stage 2 - Communication with Death himself
Stage 3 - Voodoo Cards
Stage 2 basically brought opportunities for some spells to be created like Black Death, Flying Dutchman, Swarm of Worms and of course the famous Death Poker which was the only way Death would communicate directly with the sailor, either pirate or a nobleman, it made no difference if the price was paid, which was and always have been: their soul.
Witches and sorceres were pretty happy with this new solution but... Death wasn't. He needed to be everywhere, aid those with a soul so poor that he would starve so... Death proposed another idea where he wouldn't need to be present: create an infinity number of cards so the witches could sell to every man who went looking for a spell to be cast. It seemed like an awesome plan but little did they know that every man would be able to use a spell without the help of a witch very soon..."
