[FIXED] Unable to place a higher bid for ships

A ship is currently selling for 5 credits. I try to offer 12 credits for this ship. I get the warning "this seems like a typo, are you sure you want to bid 12 credits?". I'm sure, so I click "yes". However, no bid is placed. I am taken back to the bidding page for the ship, just like I do if I press "no".

i get the same issue occasionally on both ship and voodoo market. only way i found around it is to first make the low bid, and then outbid myself untill i reach desired bid. system might prevent bids too high over average price based on last auctions?

There is no room for occasional here. Are you sure you pressed yes? Have you tried again?

Yes, I am sure. And yes, I tried several times.

i said occasionally, because its rare to find an auction you might want to bid more on.

example: if i would see pretty 2 trait level 1 flag galleon on market for 1 credit, i can always bid the 1c that is the start price. but if i try bidding 10c, i get same issue haron does. it keeps asking me if its a typo, no matter how many times i choose yes, it will not let me bid. same thing has happened to me on voodoo market.

i dont see anything else causing it, than either bidding way more than average price for recent auctions, or too high difference in bid compared to start price.

I have encountered a small bug as well which bears a small resemblance to the above described problem so I put it out here in case it aids in finding the problem.
My problem is, on some, not all ship fleets cannot be renamed.
When I click on the fleet link to rename, it acts like a broken link and does not direct me to the page that allows name change, It just reverts back to the initial fleet screen from where I made the request.
The weird part is, it does not affect all my fleets. Honestly, so far, I have only found it on one fleet and it is a fleet I have had for years. If fleet number is needed, PM me.

Not a big issue for me but it highlights that there is a problem somewhere. Hopefully this small quirk can help pinpoint the cause and is related to the other issues mentioned here.

Stan- I've had the same issue with 3 different fleet's I just end up deleting the fleet to fix it, but I do think a Brig fleet of mine has the same issue as well atm.

Credit bid- That would explain why I have made bids in the past and not got the item or notification of being out bid, I need to start paying more attention... :wheel Haron bought a ship :D

Poor guy had too... Story is, Haron went to port one day (Tortuga). He was battle weary and was in need of Rum and Rest. Well, he left some second rate bloke named Zephore in charge of his fleet. Everyone knows Zeph likes to drink heavily and play games with the local Voodoo Queen. That darn priestess cast a sleeping spell on the whole crew. When everyone woke, they were half naked on the beach and Haron's ships were missing.

Its the darndest thing what goes on when Rum and Voodoo are at play.
