Hi CJ!

More than one year I have this problem Chalbaud described, but I am not often on line, or better to say I am very briefly on line, and pretty lazy to communicate, so, I let it be. Now, I did what you suggested, but the problem still exist. In a few times the chat window popped up, but in most cases it did not appear.

Try the following:
1)Navigate to the game screen (s2.piratesglory.com)
2)At the top left of the browser screen, next to the url, there should be a lock icon. Right click on it and select Website properties.
3)A new tab will open, select to allow popup windows and redirects at permissions.

This should do it. Let us know with results.

Hi CJ Thanks.. I have ad blockers.
I followed your instructions but havent received a msg yet to test it out..

UPDATE: LOL.. Thanks CW- The notification came up with your name on it at the chat box.
It did not open when I clicked on it.
Usually when I click and it doesnt open the notification comes in up the top.
This has not happened this time

The old one, but still works perfectly.

I have been having that same issue with the phone and tablet but not desktop.

Whenever I get a chat from someone, I can hear the notification and I can see the blip on the bottom of the screen showing me that a player has sent me a message. However, upon clicking their name to open the chat, nothing happens.

Been having this issue for years. Normally I open a completely unrelated chat and minimize it, then the other one will open.

I am not having the issue currently; I recently cleared my cache for a school-related issue. I was still having the issue with the chat system after I did this, though, so the problem is persistent sometimes and absent others. If I begin to have the issues again, I will follow the provided steps and post again.

Adblockers and browser plugins in general, do mess with webpages. This is why I suggest to try another browser, preferably one you do not use which will be clean of plugins.

Turning plugins off on your current one and then opening them back one by one can help in finding the culprit.

For adblockers specifically, you can turn them off for Pirates Glory at their settings. After all, there are no ads in Pirates Glory.

I used ME and still have the same problem. Today when I logged on there was the red dot with a 4 on the chat box. Clicked on it - nothing. Refreshed the page and then notifications came in up top in red announcing 2 events and 2 msgs and guild discussion .. Chat box still doesn't open.

Update: My chat box is working again!! Thank you. I did change to firefox - don't know if that had anything to do with it??
