Prefered Destination

I suggest that, much like Ship Profiles where you can save your attribute-point layout on ships and not have to worry about going through each one, whenever you buy a ship off of the Ship Market you are able to select a preferred destination in case for some reason you don't pick them up manually.

Are you suggesting this happens if the manual pickup expires, or becomes automatic as soon as the auction ends?

Gonna have to say -1 for right now unless further explained. This would give some an advantage to commandeering a ship they sold if they catch the person off after the auction ends.

I may be slightly confused though on your full idea

You would have to know a) who bought it b)which port it was in (which if you knew who bought it would be easy enough to figure out)

Personally I like the idea. It would be handy to have it go to an intended port upon auction end.

You wouldn't need to know who bought it, just the ships ID. Which If its your own ship your selling you would automatically know.

Exactly.

This is safer now than when IDs were shown.
But still a risk as the seller would know.

Best way for it to work is buyer defined delivery delay.
So it would not be immediate or at automatic delivery, but rather any time in between.

My setting might be pania. 28 hours post auction ending.
Shadowoods setting might St Martin 6 hours post auction ending.

Hum... I prefer as it is now. Auctioned ships stay undelivered until the buyer checks them. So -1.

i see no harm coming from being able to set desired port for ships to be auto-delivered to, along with prefered timing after auction ends. currently i believe they are auto-delivered 2-3 days when auctions are ended, checked or not. not sure if they end to your current location

When you don't pick them up, they get delivered into the port that (I presume) the seller put them up in the Ships Market at. I'm saying that with this suggestion instead of it going to Kanoni, I could set a preference to have it delivered to Aiora.
