Voodoo changes

I have been thinking about this when playing other games, why don't the voodoo require anything but turns?
So here is my suggestion
Voodoo require port materials
So basically now voodoo require port materials to cast, the amount and item requires on the rarity and power of the cast, the ports can be selected in the voodoo menu, and the materials will be taken from that port.

Summoning related voodoo(Call kraken, levi, SoW) require food.

Ship related require Iron and Tools

Port related require rum and/or tobacco

Common cards have a basic cost of 1X. what X is, will be decided based on the card.
Uncommon could be 2X. Meaning that at minimum it will always be twice what a common would cost.
And rare 5X. 5 times what a common would be.

Most of the cards require gold bars to work, Common can be 10, uncommon 20, and rare 50 for example. Certain cards can be specialized-Iron golem for example should not require any supplies but gold bars and turns to cast

Certain cards that include non magical uses(Military service, bribe...etc) require gold coins

Credit for the cost and gold bar goes to Meliva

I assume that the items would have to be in the port you are at when casting.

this is a rather good idea honestly. Or at least in my opinion, since it would make witchdoctors HAVE to have at least some ships to transfer items to a port to use. Granted they could prepare beforehand, but even then they would eventually run out of resources, and need new ships to regain it, making them vulnerable for a time.

Buy a bunch of iron golems cast as much as you like :D

I would suggest that you just need the resources all in one port, and that can work anywhere. So this would also make OLoD even more effective as well. Find the port with the materials, burn it out, and your in the clear for a while.

How so, you can enter any port you own a warehouse in. Also there has to be a point where these resources are taken from when you cast. You can't just have them in various ports, there would have to be some sort of consolidation.

That would only work for a little while. With a huge increase in demand for them, prices would go up. Same with OLoD.

I can already see a potential strategy to stock multiple warehouses with the materials to have backup ports for casting.

I buy packs as I like the 1.333 cr per card no matter what the market sells em for commons build up pretty easy in that way and iron golems are like water lol.
If your wd isnt a coiner I guess it would work.
