I have seen comments on this subject before, but a search of the forums rendered no hits on the combined words "Guild Treasury" or "Guild Bank", so I am soliciting a discussion on the topic under the "Guild Treasury" heading.

I would put forth the idea of a guild treasury, wherein funds could be collected by the guild for various purposes that could be imagined.

Payouts for certain achievements such as acquiring certain ranks for one thing, as an incentive for new players to advance and for players in general to be more involved in the guild. Payments from the guild treasury could be approved by guild leadership to player's bank accounts for specific goals and objectives as well, such as defense of guild members or hitting specified targets.

There have also been discussions about other guild features that will be coming in the future that could use, and may require, the existence of a guild treasury. While it's usefulness at the moment might be limited, it would have a purpose- and play a greater role in the future.

Funds could be added to the guild treasury through any one or all of the following means:

-A guild tax on all trade or plunder/skirmish activities,
-Through a flat daily guild fee,
-Through direct donations from a guild member to the guild treasury through their bank account.

That one is an actual independent suggestion for Guild Treasury.

I did a search for the terms "guild treasury" and "guild bank", so I could bump the issue, but none of the top results I received contained the words "guild treasury" together in the same post.

I knew it had been discussed and mentioned several times, but was baffled at it not showing up in the search, and so I brought it up.
